For this SSENSE digital spread, Metastage brought The Weeknd’s holographic presence to life using volumetric capture.

The final VolCap assets were processed into high-fidelity 3D holograms. Allowing for cinematic virtual cameras to move and create dynamic 2D stills and video. This approach enabled the seamless integration of The Weeknd’s 3D digital double into a richly textured, atmospheric nighttime environment, preserving every detail of his performance while enhancing the depth and realism of the final 2D visuals.
